I'm no stranger to the way you are probably feeling right now. A few short years ago, I was at my lowest point after a motor vehicle accident, a long-term abusive relationship with a narcissist/addict, a chronic illness diagnosis (Achalasia), and experiences with physical and mental health challenges. But I was barely aware of it. Anxiety, overthinking, energetic overwhelm, procrastination, chronic digestive issues (bloating, constipation, heartburn), acne, irregular periods... These were my normals.

I had no motivation to get the simplest things done, while also being stuck in a state of constant "doing" out of fear of slowing down. I had shame and unawareness around my emotions & boundaries, and told myself countless times “I’m fine” until I would break down in tears of frustration. This only led to anger, perfectionism, burnout, and toxic positivity.

I started diving deep into research beyond what the mainstream tells us are "the right things to do". It wasn't until I truly understood the somatic connection between the mind and the body that I was able to begin healing. Learning about trauma, anxiety as a symptom, nervous system regulation, metabolism & hormones, and healing through nature helped me make sense of what my doctors failed to fix. Only then was I able to find my peace and finally be in alignment.

My wellbeing was suffering and I realized that I was not supposed to be feeling this way. I spent precious time & money on short-term solutions, all the while knowing there was more to what I was being told (or not told) by doctors, therapists and other professionals. For over seven years, I tried yoga, supplements, workout programs, diets, talk therapy, quitting jobs, mindset programs, certifications and even surgery without finding the peace that I was seeking. After being prescribed anxiety medication, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Through my own healing, I realized I could help others find freedom by harnessing my lived experience. Now, I coach women to get to the root cause of their anxiety, educating them along the way about nutrition, movement, energy healing, and more. I'm here to guide you to, help you become your own advocate and reclaim your power to live peacefully & authentically.

Lavender Tusk means Feminine Awakening. The colour lavender represents a rare and feminine colour, and the tusk from the sacred elephant meaning awakening.

I started Lavender Tusk in 2020, and it has evolved & shifted so much since then!

I started by taking Yoga Teacher Training & Reiki certification, and have unlearned so much since then, including the cultural appropriation.

I also work as a Social Service Outreach Worker!

My background is in animal rescue & I have six rescue animals at home: two dogs, three cats & one bunny.

Lavender Tusk is a safe space for you to find alignment through authentic experiences, workshops, healing sessions, and group or individual coaching. Our offerings are grounded in education, self-awareness, transformation, connection & community. We are honoured to collaborate & hold space with some beautiful souls as part of our offerings including a Certified Personal Trainer, Registered Nutritionist and Certified Energy Healer.

This one-of-a-kind farm in Brantford, Ontario is home to many beautiful rescue animals who provide a safe and judgement-free space for healing and learning workshops. Horses, mini-horses, goats, and bunnies give us unconditional love, help remove emotional blockages, and deepen our connection to ourselves and others.

A collaboration between myself and Crystal Dunbar, Finding Lavender hosts transformational holistic healing events throughout the year at a beautiful nature-based farm in Brantford, Ontario. We welcome each person into a safe and inclusive environment to set a personal intention for the day, release what no longer serves them, and embrace their authentic self to integrate into their daily life moving forward.

As part of the 1-on-1 Mentorship offering, you receive a custom nutrition and movement plan from Jenn Cino, Nutrition Practitioner, Personal Trainer, and founder of fit. period. Specializing in hormones, gut health, and women's health, she is passionate about helping others break free from the cycle of hormone imbalances, Instagram fad diets, working out to the point of exhaustion, and more.
